Obituary for Roger John Couture Sr. Roger John Couture, Sr. 78, a resident of North Andover, died at his home on Saturday, July 7, 2018 surrounded by his loving family It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our family patriarch. Roger was born in Lawrence, Ma. on April 3 1940, the youngest of 9 siblings to Marie (Trepanier) and Omar Couture. He lived most of his life in Lawrence, Methuen and most recently North Andover. He was a good father who worked hard to provide for and take great care of his family who loved him dearly, as he loved them. Roger had a keen interest in all things mechanical and could fix just about anything, but he loved working on his autos most, as he was an avid car enthusiast and his ’77 Camaro was his prized possession. Among other interests, he enjoyed doing yard work as well as his garden. He especially was proud of his various Doberman Pinschers he raised over the years. In the kitchen, he was quite the chef and we all enjoyed his wonderful meals made from the heart, with love. But more than anything Roger loved getting together with family and friends, especially best friends, Johnny and Bernadette Kerins, who were like family to us. Our backyard barbecues and Karaoke-cookouts were his favorite times and some of our best memories of him, singing his favorite Elvis songs after cooking big meals for us at holiday gatherings. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him, none more so than his family Roger is survived by his loving wife of 56 yrs, Elizabeth (Buka) Couture, daughters Regina Luciano and husband Paul, Renee Lavoie and husband Yves and son Roger, Jr. and wife Laurie. He also leaves behind his sister Fernand Palmer, grandkids Edward DiFruscia Ill, Joseph P. McMahon Jr., Shayna Leary, Kayla Chandler, Hayley Couture, Alec Couture, Paul Luciano and Rylee Couture, as well as great grandchildren Ava Cronin, Abel Leary and many nieces and nephews.
