Robert Bob Potts 2018

Mr. Robert “Bob” N. Potts, 73, of Timber Point Circle, Fayetteville, PA passed away Monday, July 23, 2018 in the Chambersburg Hospital. Born July 26, 1944 in Chambersburg, PA he was the son of the late Charles H. and Stella V. (Kiesecker) Potts. He was a graduate of the Waynesboro High School with the Class of 1962. Mr. Potts served in the United States National Guard for six months. He and his wife of 51 years, Connie A. (College) Potts were married July 1, 1967 in Leitersburg, MD. Mr. Potts was employed as a machinist at Mack Truck, Hagerstown, MD for 30 years. He retired in 2001. He was a member of Waynesboro Fish and Game and enjoyed fishing and using the shooting range. Above all, Mr. Potts loved spending time with his family. In addition to his wife he is survived by two children, Brian Potts and his wife Brooke of Waynesboro and Robin White and her husband Cameron of Waynesboro; six grandchildren, Daniel, Connor, Emily, Benjamin, Adam, and Ethan; four siblings, Estella Kadel of St. Thomas, PA, Darrel Potts of Waynesboro, Bradley Potts, and Carolyn Starliper both of Florida; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Charles Potts. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 26, 2018 in the Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad Street, Waynesboro, PA. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro, PA. Online condolences may be expressed at www.bowersoxfuneralhomes.com.
