Obituary for Roberta “Bobby” Howarth Roberta Frances, “Bobby” Howarth, 94, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018, at Shrewsbury Nursing Home. While residing at Shrewsbury Nursing and Rehab for the last seven years, Bobby received wonderful care from everyone on Station 1 and from Compassus Hospice; appreciation goes out to each and every one who cared for her. She formerly resided on Fairfax Street for many years. She was born in Westborough, daughter of the late Arthur and Alice (Dufault) Howarth, and moved to Shrewsbury as a child. She was sister and care provider of the late Lucille “Soul” Lucier of Shrewsbury. Bobby attended Shrewsbury High School. She managed Babe’s Store on South Quinsigamond Avenue, which was owned by her father. Bobby will be remembered for her kindness to all, her love of animals, and her dedication to her family. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 26, at 11 am at St. Luke’s Cemetery (St. Philip Section) in Westborough.
