Robert P. Margo, age 90, formerly of Zelienople, died Friday morning, July 6, 2018 at LAS St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars. Born in Port Vue, PA on December 6, 1927, he was the son of the late Andrew and Anna Gerosky Margo. Bob had been vice-president of Information Technology for McKesson, Inc. He served as a Sgt. in the U.S. Army during W.W. II, and was of the Catholic Faith. Surviving are his wife, Eleanor “June” Lawyer Margo, who he married on January 3, 2004, two sons, Robert A. Margo (Lee) in Massachusetts and Todd L. Margo (Corona) in Texas , a daughter, Christine A. Margo (Steve Sykes) in Michigan, a grandson, Daniel Margo, and a brother, Richard Margo (Diane) in Connecticut and a sister, Katherine Maffei in Pgh. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Rita Simcik, who he married on September 12, 1953 and who died in 2001, and by a brother, Thomas and a sister, Barbara. Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Wednesday from 6-8 PM. A Blessing Service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery in Duquesne. Memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, 1000 Liberty Ave # 1606, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
