Robert L. Sanderson, 74, of Wormleysburg died unexpectedly Monday, July 23, 2018 at home. He was born February 10, 1944 in Hershey to the late Charles and Pauline (Nestler) Sanderson. Bob was a graduate of Cedar Cliff High School, an Airforce Veteran, and a retired truck driver from ABF Freight. He was a long-time member of Fairview Twp. Fire Department, New Cumberland American Legion Post 143, and the Enola Sportsmen’s Club. He enjoyed participating in bowling, playing softball,… Read More » and coaching his daughters in softball. He was an avid Penn State Football fan and enjoyed NASCAR and Sprint Car Racing. Bob was the life of the party and made friends wherever he went. He was happiest when he was with his family, friends, and sweet dog Merida. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; three daughters, Nicole Dobos (Daryle) of Chalfont, Jennifer Ritter (Edward) of York Haven, and Amanda Seaman (Lon) of Wormleysburg; a sister, Paula Krieger of York; and five grandchildren, Bo, Jillian, Ryan, Kyle, and Connor. Visitation will be from 5 to 7pm Thursday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. A memorial service will be held at 10:30am Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, 863 Lewisberry Road, Lewisberry, Pa 17339.
