Obituary for Robert L. Day Robert L. Day, 81 years, of Columbia, IL, passed away on June 30, 2018 at Friendship Village, Sunset Hills, Sunset Hills, MO. He was born July 13, 1936, in Evansville, IN, son of the late Charles L. and Lucille, nee Huckeby, Day. Robert was a retired cartographer with the Defense Mapping Agency. He had served in the United States Air Force. Surviving are his brother, Gerald (Ellen) Day of Sturgis, KY; three sisters, Jo Ann Day of Cairo, KY, Mary Ann Wells of Sturgis, KY, and Helen Day of Columbia, IL, along with other relatives and friends. Mr. Day was cremated according to his wishes. There will be no public services.
