Obituary for Robert Monger Robert H. Monger, 79, of New Holland, died on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Country Meadows in Lancaster. Robert was born in Rising Sun, MD. He was married 58 years to Rose Ann Mentzer Monger. Robert was the owner and operator of Monger’s Used Cars. He was a member of St. Stephen Reformed Church in New Holland. His grandchildren were a big part of his life and enjoyed spending time with them. Surviving besides his wife is a son, Scott husband of Diana Palacio Monger of Leola; a daughter, Sheri Monger of New Holland; six grandchildren, Zachary, Logan, Tyler, Isaiah, Karli and Brooke; a brother, Jim husband of Judy Monger of Kent Island, MD; and two sisters, Pam wife of Robert McCleary and Janet wife of Bill Garvin both of FL. The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice and Community Care and Country Meadows for the kind care they provided to Robert over the past few months. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 6, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Stephen Reformed Church, 249 E. Main St., New Holland, PA with the Rev. Dr. Timothy Witmer and the Rev. Nathaniel Stamper officiating. The family will greet friends at the church on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mr. Monger’s memory may be made to the Memorial Fund at St. Stephen Reformed Church, 249 E. Main St., New Holland, PA 17557.
