Richard LRich Beamenderfer 1965 2018

Obituary for Richard “Rich” Beamenderfer Richard L. ‘Rich’ Beamenderfer, 53, of Lewistown, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday July 2, 2018. Born January 24, 1965 in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Glenn E. and Gretchen F. (Rank) Beamenderfer. Rich will be remembered and missed by his loving wife, Lora J. (Dippery) Beamenderfer, his children, Lynn Cooper and husband Chris of Port Royal, and Nicholas Beamenderfer of Georgia, a sister Glenda Thomas and husband Mike of Harrisburg, along with numerous other siblings, and Grandchildren, Mason, Chase, and Lexi Cooper. Rich attended the Lewistown Alliance Church. He was a man who had a great passion for hunting, the outdoors and the sport of baseball. Most of all, Rich loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. A memorial service in loving memory of Rich will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday July 6, 2018 at The Barr Funeral Home Inc. and Crematory, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown with Rev. John Looney officiating. There will be a time of visitation with the family from 6:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Rich’s memory are respectfully encouraged to, The Epilepsy Foundation, 1501 Reedsdale St, Pittsburgh, PA 15233, or The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, 3401 Civic Center Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19104.
