Richard S. Bubick December 25, 1941 – July 22, 2018 Mishawaka-Richard “Dick” Bubick, 76, passed away peacefully after an extended illness on July 22, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 25, 1941 in Hamilton, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Margaret Bubick; his siblings, Lillian Krizman and Raymond Bubick; and his nephew, Anthony Bubick. Richard is survived by the love of his life, Sylvia; two daughters, Cheryl Bubick and Michelle Witt; two grandchildren, Douglas Bubick and Ariella Witt; and two great-grandchildren, Adriana Hamilton-Bubick and Riley Bubick. On August 29, 1964 he was united in marriage to Sylvia Memenga at Saint Monica’s Catholic Church in Mishawaka. They were happily married for 53 years. Richard attended the University of Michigan where he played football. He went on to pursue a career as a Certified Public Accountant. He had a great love of music and all sports, especially the Indianapolis 500. However, his greatest love of all was his family. Richard had a caring and loving heart, always putting his family first. Richard’s integrity shined throughout all aspects of his life. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Visitation will be on Saturday July 28, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass at 10:30 a.m. Visitation and Mass will both be held at St Pius X Catholic Church, 52553 Fir Road, Granger, IN 46530.
