Obituary for Rev. James Williams Flake The Rev. James Williams Flake, 89, of Jim Bell Rd., died Tuesday, June 26, 2018. He was born to Estelle Ingram Flake in Anson County on December 30, 1928. He retired from Marsh Furniture and was the former pastor of Friendship Baptist Church, High Point and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Winston-Salem. He was preceded in death by his mother; a daughter, Kathy Flake; a brother, Roland Ingram and a sister, Frances Patterson. Rev. Flake leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Deborah Hines-Flake; three sons: James (Gwen) Flake, Tony Flake and Stanley (Renee) Flake; a daughter, Carolyn Flake; a step-son, Brian Watson and step-daughter, Ashley Watson; a brother, Esiah Ingram, Jr.; ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be Tuesday at 1:00pm at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 1711 Claremont Ave. NE, Winston-Salem, NC. Entombment will follow at Piedmont Memorial Garden.
