Pearl D. Crowell, 96, of Greensburg, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018, at Greensburg Care Center. She was born May 25, 1922, in Allmansville, a daughter of the late Abs and Sylvia (Ross) Curry. Pearl was a loving homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church, Greensburg. She was a great baker and she was well known for her pies and chocolate chip cookies. Pearl was also a fan of Pitt Panther basketball. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond B. Crowell; her son, William H. Crowell; four brothers, Raymond, Rex, Bruce and Guy Curry, and three sisters, Ruth Glasgow, Eleanor Askew and Janet Hribal. She is survived by her son, Barry E. Crowell; her daughter-in-law, Janice F. Crowell; two grandchildren, Tina Lunn and William R. Crowell (Michelle); a great-granddaughter, Maia Crowell; her brother, Virgil Curry (Sandra), and a sister, Phanetta Liken (John). Private services will be held for the family with interment to take place in St. Clair Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 15 E.
