Obituary for Pauline Gutierrez Pauline Gutierrez, 83, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 1, 2018, at Aurora Medical Center. Born in Austin TX, on April 14, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Grabieal and Gregoria (Valles) Alaniz. She was educated in the schools of Texas before moving to Kenosha. On October 18, 1974, she married Refugio Gutierrez in Kenosha. Pauline worked as an administrative assistant at Northwestern Hospital for many years until her retirement. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, enjoyed traveling, and loved spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband, Refugio Gutierrez of Kenosha; her son, Peter Martinez of Kenosha; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pauline’s family would like to thank Aurora at Home Hospice, Visiting Nurses, and all the other caregivers she’s had over the years for the kind and compassionate care that they gave her. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 6th, at Proko Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 7th, starting with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. followed with a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow the Mass at St. James Cemetery.
