Obituary for Patricia “Patti J” Jones Macon, Ga. Patricia Davis Jones, “Patti J”, 68, went to be with Jesus on July 2, 2018. Services will be held at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 6611 Zebulon Road, Macon, 31220, on Friday July 6, 2018. You will be able to visit the family from 12:00 to 2:00 PM and the service will begin at 2:30 PM. Mrs. Jones was born to Clarence and Rose Davis on April 12, 1950. She was a peerless singer and entertainer who wowed audiences across the country. She was a devoted wife and mother who instilled the infinite value of all encompassing love to her children. Even as death approached, her final thoughts were “I love you more than you will ever know,” and “I was damn good singer.” Patti is preceded in death by brother a John Davis. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Evan T. Jones Sr., her daughter Erin Love (Tim), her sons, Evan T. “T.J.” Jones Jr. (Kacie) and Matthew Jones (Kaylie), and her 4 grandchildren, Patricia Love, Timothy Love (Madison), Ellie Jones, and Sylvia Jones. Two sisters; Ailene Digiralamo and Brenda Barney, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. She loved her family more than anything in the world. Rest easy- We love you a bushel and a peck.
