Norma J Goossens Tady March 3 1942 July 30 2018 (age 76)

Norma J. Tady, 76, of Taylor Ridge, passed away Monday July 30, 2018 at UPH Trinity, Rock Island. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on 10am Thursday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Taylor Ridge. Visitation will be 4-7pm Wednesday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan, with a rosary recited at 3:30pm. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be left to St. Judes Childrens Hospital or Boys Town Norma was born on March 3, 1942 in Moline, the daughter of Raymond and Anna (VanErstvelde) Goossens. She married Charles Tady on August 25, 1962 in Moline. Mrs Tady had been employed by the City of Rock Island in the finance Department for 25 years until her retirement. She was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church. Norma loved spending time with her family and friends, attending church, shopping, avid Chicago Cubs fan and reading. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Charles; son and daughter in law, Scott and Denise Tady, NJ; daughters and sons in law, Laurie and Paul Volochenko, Milan, Christine and Matt Edwards, Andalusia; grandchildren, Zachary(Mary), Jason(Megan), Chase, Dane and Kayla.
