Obituary for Nancy Lashway Nancy A. Lashway, 72, a lifelong area resident, NY, died on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Sharon Health Care Center in Sharon, CT. Mrs. Lashway was a direct care worker with New Horizons in Pleasant Valley, NY for twenty years retiring in 2011. Born on March 9, 1946 in Sharon, CT she was the daughter of the late Charles M. and Gertrude (Butler) Triacca. On August 9, 1988 in Stanfordville, NY, she married Armand L. Lashway who died on May 27, 2009. Mrs. Lashway is survived by three daughters, Debbie Horton, and her companion, William Parker, Jr. of Amenia; Laurie Horton and her companion, Richard Hoag, of Wingdale, NY and Amanda Triacca and her companion, Jason Remmers of Avondale, AZ. She is also survived by a brother, Edward Triacca, and his wife, Regina, of Poughkeepsie, NY; a sister, Cathy Hampton of New Jersey and a granddaughter, Katie Lauren Remmers. Calling hours will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, July 9, 2018 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Hufcut Funeral Home with Rev. Kathleen Meyerson officiating. Burial will follow at Amenia Island Cemetery in Amenia.
