Obituary for Mrs. Myra Shepherd Graveside services for Mrs. Myra Shepherd, 88, of Mt. Enterprise, are tentatively scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, at King Cemetery. Interment will follow under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at the funeral home. Mrs. Shepherd peacefully passed from this life on July 29, 2018, with her daughters by her side. She was born November 28, 1929, the youngest of 6 children born to the late Lorenzo and Cora (Chapman) Dow in the Concord Community and was a proud, life long resident of Mt. Enterprise. Myra was a very creative woman and loved anything of beauty; gardens, clothes, and interior design just to name a few. She was also hardworking and worked as a secretary and interior designer for Automatic Gas and Furniture. She loved to sing, but above all, family was first, and she had a special relationship with her grandchildren. Mrs. Shepherd was a member of the Mt. Enterprise Church of Christ and dearly loved her church family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Shepherd; and all of her brothers and sisters. Survivors include her daughters, Sharon Sanders and husband Tony of Henderson, and Malinda Risinger and husband Larry of Larkspur, Colorado; her beloved 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and other family; as well as her loving and tender caregivers to which the family would like to say a special word of thanks.
