OBITUARY Myra Ruth Glenn August 8, 1931 – July 13, 2018 Mrs. Myra Glenn, 86, of Gadsden passed away Friday, July 13, 2018. Funeral Service will be Sunday, July 15, 2018, 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with burial to follow in the adjoining cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services will direct. Mrs. Glenn was a lifetime member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. She was a faithful Christian and dedicated church member. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Lanier Glenn; grandsons, Todd Kilgo and Stephen Kilgo. Survivors include her daughter, Donna (Troy) Kilgo; grandsons, Benjamin (Tonia) Kilgo; granddaughter-in-law, Cindy Kilgo; 4 great grandchildren, Johnny Kilgo; Sam Kilgo; Jack Kilgo and Caroline Kilgo; sisters, Ola Fowler and Evelyn Sanchez; extended family, Aaron and Jan Jordan; Lamar and Hilda Ballard, as well as, many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, 7400 Tabor Road, Gadsden, AL 35904. Pallbearers will be, Lamar Ballard; David Smith; Larry Farley; Johnny Kilgo; Mike McCloud and Edward Elliott. Honorary Pallbearers will be Sam and Jack Kilgo; Aaron Jordan and Deacons of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Debra Reiland, Gadsden Health Care nurses and staff, and Alacare Hospice for their compassionate, kind and excellent care of our mother as well as being so to our family Mrs. Glenn will lie in state at the church Sunday from 1 pm until the hour of service.
