Mildred Louise Harrison, age 88, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Saturday July 7, 2018 at Bacon County Hospital following an extended illness. Mrs. Harrison was born on November 25, 1929 in Alabama the daughter of Oscar B. Harrison and Christine Webb Harrison. She worked as a manager in local Department Stores. Mrs. Harrison was preceded in death by three daughters, Shelia Carter, Shirley Carter and Karen Lott, a sister, Nellie Jo Dorminey and step-mother, Louise Harrison. Survivors include her son, Tony Teston of Douglas, GA; seven grandchildren, Cindy Lewis, Wendy Lewis, Shawn Carter, Lee Carter, April Pate, Brian Pate and David Lott; four great grandchildren, Courtlyn Fussell, Addison Lewis, Anna Carter and Drake Corbitt; one great great grandchild, Tucker Corbitt; special friend, Louise Mitchell. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 11, 2018 at 2:00pm at Sims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Mercer officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at Sims Funeral Home. Memorialization is by cremation.
