Obituary for Michael J. Ulm Michael J. “Mike” Ulm went to be with the Lord on Sunday July 15, 2018 at his home in Rensselaer. He was born on September 15, 1944 in Rensselaer, Indiana, the son of the late Marvin F. & Dixie K (Salyers) Ulm. Mike lived most his life in Rensselaer and a decade of time in the State of Georgia. He graduated from Wheatfield High School, the Class of 1962. He was previously married to Brenda West (Leland) Brock of Tennessee. Mike worked for Four County Supply in sales for over 30 years, retiring in 2016. He also worked as a stone mason for ten years. He was a past member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #2272 in Rensselaer and was an avid high school football and basketball fan. He thoroughly enjoyed watching and cheering for the Rensselaer Bombers, the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears. Mike is survived by brothers & sisters, Joseph Ulm of Remington, Indiana, James Ulm, Becky (Dave) Walter and Tony Ulm, all of Rensselaer, Indiana. He also has numerous surviving nieces and nephews. Cremation rites have been chosen and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Jackson Funeral Chapel in Rensselaer is handling arrangements.
