Obituary for Melton Raborn Melton Wayne Warren Raborn, 74, of Waco, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 25, at Harris Creek Cemetery, McGregor, TX, with Pastor Barron Harris officiating. The family will receive visitors from 5-7, Tuesday, July 24, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco. Wayne was born September 28, 1943, in Corpus Christi, TX, to Dorothy Louise Warren and Melvin Dolpha Warren. Wayne worked most of his life in construction and before his retirement he worked at Hillcrest Hospital. He loved old cars and hot rods. Wayne spent most of his time in the garage working on his prized ‘55 Chevy. He loved teaching his sons and his grandsons about cars and how to fix them. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; and a brother. Wayne is survived by Karen Wiley and husband Darrell, Dwayne Raborn and wife Michelle, James Raborn and wife Darlene; sister, Martha Lynn Neill; his uncle and aunt, Jim and Kay Warren; aunt, Polly Shaeper; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his faithful dog, Freddy Ray.
