OBITUARY Mary Margaret Malatesta September 19, 1921 – July 28, 2018 Mary Margaret Malatesta, 96, Indianapolis, passed away on Saturday, July 28th 2018. She was born in Mattoon, Illinois to Lawrence and Margaret V (Peter) Malatesta. Mary graduated from St. Agnes Academy and received her B.A. degree from St. Mary of the Woods College and was awarded an MBA from Indiana University. She taught accounting and related business classes at Marian University for 30 years, retiring in 1989. Mary previously worked for the New York Central Railroad and taught at the U.S. Adjutant General School at Fort Benjamin Harrison. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Rev. Charles R. Malatesta, OP. Mary is survived by several cousins in the Mt. Carmel Illinois area. Visitation will be from 4-6 PM on Thursday, August 2nd 2018 at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary, 2126 E. 71t St, Indianapolis. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at St Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 4217 N Central Ave in Indianapolis on Friday, August 3rd. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Mt Carmel, Illinois. Memorial contribution may be made to St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.
