Martha Lynch Leonard, 66, of Pleasant Garden passed away on Monday, July 2, 2018. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 14th at First Baptist Church in Greensboro. Martha was born March 13th, 1952, graduated from Grimsley High school in 1970, and attended Brevard College. In 1990 she married Larry Leonard, eventually moved to their home in Pleasant Garden, and was recently planning to retire in the next year from her career of 23 years with Pace Communications. Martha enjoyed reading, watching her flowers and garden grow, and putting out birdseed for her beloved backyard birds. Most of all she loved her family and friends and being a grandma. Martha was preceded in death by her parents Charles B. and Martha Stanfield Lynch, as well as her sister Diane Lynch Stewart. She will be missed by many but most of all by her husband Larry Leonard; son Brian Anderson; daughter Stacey Dozier (Wayne); grandchildren Lily, Ava, Jacob and Isabella; brother John Lynch; nephew Trey Lynch; niece Nikki Stewart; and aunt Jean Lane. She is also survived by extended family and cousins. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity in memory of Martha. George Brothers Funeral Service is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
