Mark Alan Banta, 53, of Campbellsburg, KY passed away on July 9, 2018 in Henry County, KY. He was born on July 22, 1964 in Shelbyville, KY to Ronald and Brenda Baugh Banta. He served his country in the United States Navy. Music and family was Marks whole life. He served the parks and recreation league for Henry County where he had coached little league football and baseball. He loved all of his kids he coached. Mark leaves to mourn his passing his parents, Ronald and Brenda Banta of Campbellsburg, KY; his wife, Shannon Lee Brown Banta of Campbellsburg, KY; his children, Christopher Alan Banta of Campbellsburg, KY, Codie Mac Banta and his companion Falina Jordan of Eminence, KY, Trea Oliver Banta of Campbellsburg, KY, William Michael Brown and his wife Krystal of Bloomfield, KY, Tara Lee Holthouser and her husband Kenny of Mt. Washington, KY, and Roger Wayne Hogue and his husband Kevin of Murray, KY; his brother, Casey Delane Banta and his companion Barb Gerlach of Campbellsburg, KY; and four grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents, M.J. and Beatrice Oliver Baugh; and his paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Amelia Graves Banta.
