Maria F. “Mia” Neesen Greco of Meadowbrook and formerly of Glenside, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family on July 14, 2018 at Abington-Jefferson Health Hospice at Warminster. She was 93. Mia was the wife of the late Joseph M. Greco. Born in the Netherlands, she was the daughter of the late Wilhelm and Johanna Cuypers Neesen. Mia survived WW II after living in the war zone for 4 years in the south of The Netherlands. Mia was devoted to her faith having been a dedicated parishioner of Queen of Peace Church where she was also involved in Sodality. Mia was also a member of the Poverella Fraternity of the Katharine Drexel Region of the Secular Franciscan Order. Surviving are her children, Gerald (Stephanie), Joseph (Linda), Vincent, and Robert (Lynn). She also leaves behind 6 grandchildren, Anne Marie Petersen (Christopher), Michael Greco (Lori), Karen McCrea (Michael), Jason Greco (Carrie), Regina Greco (Jason), and Keri Lyons, and her 6 great-grandchildren, Mikayla and Evelyn Greco, Aidan and Ryan Petersen, Lucas McCrea and Riley Grace Lyons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Jolana Iles, Gerard Neesen, and Jetty Verberk. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 10:30 AM at Queen of Peace Church, 820 North Hills Ave. (at Fitzwatertown Rd.), Ardsley, PA 19038 where relatives and friends may call from 9:00 to 10:15 AM. Her interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Salvation Army 701 N.
