Margie Marie Parker, 79, of Franklin, NC, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2018. She was born in Macon County, the daughter of the late Arthur Garland Quilliams and Lillie Ann King Quilliams. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethesda Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, James Andrew Parker and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 4 sisters, Bertha Lee Dills, Hattie Mae Moss, Ellen McClure, and Bethel Mick and three brothers, J. C., Robert and Edgar Quilliams. A funeral service will be Saturday July 28th at 11:00 am in the chapel of Bryant‑Grant Funeral Home, with Rev. Robert Dryman, Rev. Bert Crawford and Rev. David Brown officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Randall, Raymond, Gary, Roy and Jim Bob Quilliams and Richard Rogers. Online condolences are available at bryantgrantfuneralhome.com.
