Madge (Pratt) Brown of Cornettsville, KY was born May 1, 1925 to Fred Pratt and Vina (Halcomb) Pratt. She entered eternal life on July 23, 2018 being 93 years, 2 months and 22 days of age. Madge was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Brown, with whom she shared 68 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her parents Fred and Vina Pratt and four siblings: Marie (Pratt) Roberts, Harvey (Jack) Pratt, Claudia (Pratt) Adams and Leonard Dale Pratt. Madge is survived by 3 sons: Phillip (Carol) Brown of Blackey, Ky, Stanley (Danielle) Brown of Richmond, KY, Fred Brown of Winchester, KY; 2 daughters, Donna Rae (Julian) Tackett of Lexington, KY and Marquetta (Tim) Ison of Hazard, KY. She leaves 6 grandchildren: Tim Ray (Jamie) Ison of Hazard, KY, Jeremy Ison of Lexington, KY, Tyler (Ann-Margaret) Brown of Lexington, KY, Whitley (Jeff) Lyon of Taylor Mill, KY, Austin Brown of Winchester, KY and Jackson Brown of Richmond, KY along with 4 great grandchildren: Morgan Eddington, Rylan Eddington, Phoenix Eddington all of Hazard Ky, and Arley Wray Lyon of Taylor Mill, KY. Funeral: 1:00 O’clock P.M. Thursday, July 26, 2018 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Tim R. Ison officiating. Visitation: 11:00 O’clock A.M. Thursday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
