Obituary for Madeline Trautman Funeral Mass for Madeline (nee Dudas) Trautman, 88, of Mentor, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2018, at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 9114 Lakeshore Blvd., Mentor. Family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday prior to the Mass. Fr. Tim Plavac will officiate. Mrs. Trautman passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018, at Atria Newell Creek in Mentor. She was born Feb. 17, 1930, in Cleveland. Madeline enjoyed china painting and loved to crochet. She was the loving mother of Helen Marie “Buddie” (Michael) Garlisi; mother-in-law of Elaine Trautman; cherished grandmother of Marie (Rob) Longo, Thomas (Heather) Trautman, Kimberly (Keith) Egner and Danyel (Heather) Garlisi; great-grandmother of Nathan, Abigail, Logan, Madeline, Jacob and Addison; sister of Stella Dudas; and aunt of nieces and nephews. Madeline was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gerald E. Trautman in 2018; son, John S. Trautman; parents, Steven and Helen (nee Kovacs) Dudas; and siblings, Patricia Thomas, Margaret Bodnar, Steve Dudas, Gilbert Dudas, Alex Dudas, Joseph Dudas and Ernie Dudas. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg. Contributions in her name may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110. Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.
