Lucille A. Reedy, 70 of Ravenna, died peacefully after a brief illness on Monday, July 23, 2018. She was born on August 28, 1947 in Ravenna to Marion and Cecilia (Mendiola) Esposito. Lucille was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and was a social worker for Portage County Job and Family Services. Survivors include her children Robert (Tenyia) Reedy (Monroe, LA) and Jennifer (Ronald) Ward (Diamond, OH); grandchildren Anthony Reedy and Hunter, Kennedy, River and Sydney Ward; six sisters, Mary Ann Kuhar (Irvine, CA), Charlene (Stephen) Williams (Waimanalo, HI), Patricia (James) Pringle, Madonna Esposito, and Karen Esposito of Ravenna, Cecilia (Monty) Mees (Milan, OH) and her brother Ronald (Christine) Esposito (Apopka, FL). She was preceded in death by her parents, husband David in 1998, and brother Gerald Esposito. Cremation has taken place. A memorial mass will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Church in Ravenna with Father William Kraynak officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery in Ravenna. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve: Contributions, 17876 St. Clair Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44110 or Safer Futures, 705 Oakwood Street, Ravenna, Ohio 44266.
