Louise Bedini 2018

Louise Bedini was born on September 29, 1921 in Highwood, Illinois to Jeanette (Dare) and Antone Bedini. Louise passed away July 4, 2018 at Vista Grande Inn in Cortez, CO at the age of 96. Louise was a longtime member of the Baha’i faith. She was an avid artist who enjoyed painting and also had a beautiful voice. Louise loved the outdoors and was an advocate for the environment and animals. Louise loved children. She started the first Baha’l children’s classes in Chicago. She was fond of the Brilliant Stars in Cortez, who went to her 95th birthday party and two Ayyam’i’Ha parties at Vista Grande Nursing Home. Louise is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Babe Bedini and Budsy Bedini; and her sister Erma Spradling. Louise is survived by her children, Phillip Russell (Janet) of Highland Park, IL, Patrick Russell (Vivienne) of Georgetown, TX, and Carol Dahlen (Eric) of Valparaiso, IL. ; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. A graveside ceremony will be held at Cortez Cemetery on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 10 a.m. Contributions in the memory of Louise Bedini can be made to Swim Lesson Scholarships for Brilliant Stars and Junior Youth, care of Carole Hitti, 970-560-0677, 314 S.
