Obituary for Louis Koslowski Louis Koslowski, age 94, of Seymour, the beloved husband of 69 years of the late Charlotte Koslowski, entered into eternal rest peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, July 8, 2018. He was born in Oxford on December 15, 1923 son of the late Alexander and Helen Klesiewska Koslowski. Louis was a Mill Worker for the U.S. Rubber Company for almost 30 years and proudly served his country as a member of the Army AirCorps, 459th Bomber Group during World War II. He was a long time Seymour resident and a devout communicant of St. Augustine Church in Seymour. Louis was an avid bowler who loved to travel with his late wife Charlotte visiting places like Cape Cod, the Pennsylvania Dutch Area, Maryland, the Air Force Academy and Long Beach, California to name a few. Together they saw and enjoyed many things, even having lunch on the Queen Mary. Most of all, Louis loved to spend time with his family and many friends and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. His loving family includes his two beloved daughters Joyce Koslowski and Carol Koslowski, his loving brother in law Thomas Niezelski and his wife Wanda and many cherished nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his two sisters Helen Osowicki and Harriet McKeon and his five brothers John, Frank, Joseph, Stanley and Edward. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday, July14, 2018 at St. Augustine Church, 35 Washington Ave, Seymour. Interment will follow in the family plot at St. Augustine Cemetery, Seymour with full military honors to be accorded. There will be no calling hours. Memorial gifts in memory of Louis may be made to the Seymour Ambulance Association through the funeral home.
