Obituary for Linda Jane Verble Linda Jane Verble, 74 of Pekin passed away at 2:05 PM, Friday, July 20, 2018 at her home. She was born May 10, 1944 in Pekin to Omer Cleo and Jane Alta (Wooding) Beebout. She married Billie Verble on June 20, 1962 in San Jose, CA. He preceded her on April 11, 2001. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Billie; daughter Patricia Helman; Son-in-law Richard Scott Percefull; one brother Steve Beebout and one sister Gloria Powell. She is survived by one daughter Pamela Percefull of Pekin, two grandsons, Matthew Percefull and Benjamin Percefull, both of Pekin; two brothers, Ben Beebout and Floyd Powell; and two sisters, Sharon Dagit and Glenda Schaefer. Linda was a homemaker who volunteered many places, including Willow and Washington Schools. She was a former Barebow Archery Illinois State Champion. She was an excellent seamstress who loved cooking and gardening. Her Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday July 26, 2018 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory, 2131 Velde Drive, Pekin. A visitation will be held immediately prior from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM also at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. Memorials may be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association, 1800 North Main Street, Suite 215, Wheaton, Illinois 60187.
