Obituary for Lejane Marie Anderson Lejane Marie (Sgambati) Anderson was born in San Jose, California. She lived most of her life in the bay area and graduated James Lick High School in San Jose in 1957. Lejane began working with her mother at an early age and held various jobs throughout her lifetime. She was the proud owner of Lejane’s Catering, Lejane’s Deli and Lejane’s Mansion House Restaurant in Watsonville, CA leaving those to open her own window fashion business in Reno, NV. Most importantly Lejane was a mother to six children selflessly pouring her love and nurturing character into each one of them. Her family was most important to her and in the end they surrounded her with their love as she peacefully passed from this life to the next in the early morning hours of Saturday, June 30, 2018 in Livermore, CA at the age of 78 from cancer. She is survived by her children Loralyn, Stephanie, Ronald, Christopher and Saundra and her ten precious grandchildren Christopher, Tiffany, Michael, Daniel, RJ, Sean, Ryan, Nicholas, Victor and Joshua. She is also survived by her brothers Earl Sgambati; Richard, Henry and Leroy Koch and her sister Carolyn Andrews. The family will be holding a private Celebration of Life for friends and family. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations in Lejane’s name to be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
