Laszlo Barta, 79, of Newburgh, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at St. Vincent Medical Center. Laszlo was born in Hungary, on September 30, 1938 to the late Edward Paul and Margaret Barta. He owned his own die cast business and later worked at Alcoa as a maintenance supervisor and at the Evansville State Hospital. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening and photography. Laszlo was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda (Moore) Barta; parents; and by brother, Zoey Barta. A celebration of Laszlo’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711 with Pastor Dave Schwambach officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, July 6, 2018 at Browning Funeral Home and again from 12:00 Noon until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
