Mr. Larry “Brickbat” Carver, age 60, of Franklin, KY, passed away July 24, 2018 at 3:03 AM at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, July 27, 2018 with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY. Mr. Carver was born June 23, 1958 in Simpson Co., KY to the late Connie Carver and Mayzelle Brown Carver. His five siblings, Mary Frances Hammonds, Bonnie Reynolds, Vercie Carver, Robert Estill Carver, and Ernest Dean Carver preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Carver of Franklin, KY, 2 children, son Larry Dean Carver and his wife Alisha of Franklin, KY, daughter Shelly Lynn Huffines of Franklin, KY, and grandson Claude Allen Carver. Mr. Carver was a retired truck driver. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, July 26, 2018 and from 6:00 AM until time of service on Friday, July 27, 2018 at Gilbert Funeral Home.
