Kevin Dale Grindstaff, 58, of Butlerville, passed away at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at his residence. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 9th, at the funeral home. Mr. Malvin McCullough will officiate. Born October 28, 1959, in Edinburgh, Kevin was the son of Joseph and Mary Roberts Grindstaff. He married Angela Criswell Redicker on June 9, 2007 and she survives. He worked at Nading Mechanical as a journeyman. Kevin enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking and making knives. He was an all-around handyman who enjoyed working on the farm. Kevin is survived by his wife, Angela Grindstaff of Butlerville; son, Joseph Grindstaff of Indianapolis; daughter, Dr. Elizabeth Grindstaff of Brookfield, IL; two sisters, Sandra Basey of Edinburgh and Donna Shields of Columbus; and brother, Robert Grindstaff of Brown County. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary Grindstaff. Memorials ma be made through the funeral home to Jennings County Freedom Hunt.
