Obituary for Kattie Sue Botting Kattie Sue Botting, age 60, passed away on June 30, 2018 at home surrounded by her family. She was born May 4, 1958 and was a lifelong resident of Bristol. She was preceded in death by her brothers Frank Rudd, John Burke, Dennis Burke; sisters Barbara Hobby, Kathy Flournoy. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Ed “Yank” Botting; sons Trampus Johnson, Travis Johnson, Edward Botting; siblings Lynette Temple, Bernadine Branch, Renay Jordan; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other loving family members. Kattie was deeply loved by her family, and she had never met a stranger. She was an avid knickknack collector and enjoyed sitting and talking on her porch with a cup of coffee. A visitation for family and close friends will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018 from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Bevis Funeral Home in Bristol, Florida. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
