Obituary for Joseph T. Polito Albany-Joseph T. Polito, 88, entered Eternal Life Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center. Born in Albany, Joe was the son of Joseph and Pauline Alvaro Polito. Joseph was a graduate of Albany High School and Albany College of Pharmacy. He worked as a pharmacist and was the longtime owner of Nova Reality, Albany, NY. He enjoyed golf, crossword puzzles and was a former volunteer for Meals on Wheels. He was the dear brother of Nancy Melucci (Anthony J.), Anthony J. Polito (Jo Anne) and the late Vincent Polito (late Rose); beloved uncle of John J. Melucci (Mariann), Diane Melucci (TJ Ormsby), Paul G. Melucci (Glory Anne), Anthony V. Melucci, Lisa Melucci-Davies (Jono), Joseph Polito (Lisa), Marie Martin (Donald) and Joanne Barry (George); several grandnieces and grandnephews also survive. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Joe’s family Friday, July 27, 2018 9:00 am to 10:00 am in Christ Our Light Catholic Church, Maria Drive, Loudonville, NY. His Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 am. The Rite of Committal will be held in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands, NY immediately following the Funeral Mass.
