Joan Amlin 2018

Joan Amlin, Formally of North Street, Waverly, Ohio died 12:15 A.M. Friday at Pike Community Hospital, Waverly, Ohio. Joan was born 16 January 1929 in Waverly, Ohio the daughter of the late Paul A. Weiss and Bernice (Roberts) Weiss. On 10 August 1950 Joan was united in marriage to Oscar F. Anlin, who preceded her in death on 31 May 2002. Surviving are a daughter, Kim Carson and husband Kelly of Waverly, two granddaughters, Linsy Carson and Loren Oyer, great grandson, Tru Brigner, brother, Paul Donald Weiss and wife Emily of Eastlake, Ohio, several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Nancy Cool. Her parents and husband preceded Joan in death. Joan was a member of Waverly Grace United Methodist Church, Homemaker and a retired Piano Teacher and former Organist for Grace Church for more than over 25 years. Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Monday, 16 July 2018, at the BOYER FUNERAL HOME in Waverly with Pastor David Burriss, officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Union Cemetery, Waverly.
