Obituary for Joan M. Pierce Joan M. Pierce, age 69, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018 in Grand Rapids. She was born May 6, 1949 in Muskegon to Raymond and Jeannette (Camp) Kirchenbauer. Joan worked 22 years for Meijer, Inc. prior to her retirement. She was a passionate caregiver and loved spending time with family and friends. SURVIVORS include 3 children: Stefanie (Dan) Kobasic of Bark River, MI, Lori (Luke) Vincent of Fremont, Brian Pierce of Muskegon; 8 grandchildren; 2 brothers: Todd (Karen) Kirchenbauer of N. Muskegon, Steven (Lori) Kirchenbauer of Lakewood Club; sister, Margo (Rick) Vriesman of Grand Haven; niece, Erica Kirchenbauer; and nephew, Andrew (Megan) Carr. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Kevin Pierce. A GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be held 11:30 AM Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Twin Lake Cemetery.
