Joan I Bunney Tupeck May 1 1936 June 27 2018 (age 82)

Tuftonboro, Joan I. Tupeck, 82 formerly of Union Wharf Road, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Epsom HealthCare Center, Epsom NH. Joan was a native and lifelong resident of Tuftonboro before relocating to Canterbury, NH to live with her son in November 2016. She was born May 1, 1936 the daughter of the late Cyrus and Isabelle (Nadeau) Bunney of Medford, MA. She married the late Russell E. Tupeck on June 7, 1953; they were married for 63 years. She had worked as an assembly technician at PAK 2000 for several years, but was mostly a stay at home grandmother caring for several of her grandchildren and other area children as well. Joan was a long-time member of the Happy Hobby Doll Club in Alton, NH. She was a member of the Tuftonboro Grange, the Hikers Guild, and sang in many of the churches in the surrounding area. Joan is survived by her children Stephan C. Tupeck and his wife Stephanie, Canterbury, NH; Russell G. Tupeck and his wife Dana, Lawton, OK; Lisa G. Raspante and her wife Lisa Pokraka, Wolfeboro, NH. She also leaves behind 8 grandsons, a granddaughter, and 10 great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her family, her dear friends Judy Reynolds and Roland Lemieux, and her foster child Bernadette Greenwood. Calling hours will be Monday, July 9, 2018 from 4-6pm at Lord Funeral Home, Wolfeboro, NH. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00pm at the funeral home following visitation. In lieu of flowers please send a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
