Obituary of Jerusha McCoy Jerusha Rene Reed McCoy, age 58, of Asheboro passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Randolph Hospice House. Mrs. McCoy was born in Warsburg, Germany on June 4, 1960 to Grover and Pearline Nelson Reed. She was formerly employed with Technimark. In addition to her parents, Jerusha was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Neal McCoy. Jerusha was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved everyone and never met a stranger. She was a strong-willed lady who loved animals. She is survived by her children, Jaylea Duty and husband Brian of Springfield, MN, Jackie Dean McCoy and wife Jennifer of Seagrove, Elizabeth Pearline Newman and husband Josh of Asheboro, and Kayla McCoy And Devin Penn of Asheboro; 10 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; brothers, Grover Darrell Reed, Jr. and wife Diane of White House Station, NJ and Michael Don Reed and wife Stacey of Louisiana; sister, Sherry McCoy and Fonzo of Randleman; and special friends, Cheretha McKoy and Roger Mason. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Pugh Funeral Home in Asheboro is serving the McCoy family.
