Jerry A. Sprow, age 77, of Pemberville, OH passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Bridge Hospice in Bowling Green. He was born on November 20, 1940 in Montpelier, OH to John Franklin and Geraldine Clara (Saurbeck) Sprow. On November 14, 1964 Jerry married Pauline Rife in Luckey, OH. They raised 2 sons and celebrated nearly 40 years of marriage before Pauline passed in 2004. Jerry would prove that no disability would ever hold him back in providing for his family. He practiced his trade for other companies and on his own for more the 50 years. Jerry enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time caning chairs and was even a cub scout leader which came naturally to him, as he was a father figure to all those that new him. He was affectionately known as pops to both his family and friends. However, his greatest joy would always remain his family. Jerry is survived by his sons and their spouses: Mike (Becky) Sprow and Jeff (Debra) Sprow both of Pemberville, 7 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, 4 sisters and sister-in-law: Arlene Baker of Stony Ridge. In addition to his wife Pauline, Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, 5 sisters and an infant brother. Family and friends will be received 10:00 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at the Marsh & Marsteller Funeral Home, 4094 State Route 105, Pemberville, OH. Immediately following the visitation at 12:00 p.m., family and friends will then process to Pemberville Cemetery for a graveside committal service. Officiating, will be the Rev James Budke.
