Obituary of Jeffrey Anderson Jeffrey L. Anderson, 65, of Jamestown, passed away Friday July 27, 2018 in the Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility. He was born August 29, 1952 in Jamestown the son of the late Runie S. and Janet “Grandma Jan” Anderson. Jeff was a 1970 graduate of Southwestern Central High School. For 28 years, he delivered baked goods for the former Jones Bakery, and later worked at Arro Tool and Die. He was a member of the Vikings for over 40 years and a former member of the Eagles. Jeff enjoyed music and was an avid bowler, earning a 300 ring. His favorite times were spent outdoors with family in the woods enjoying the beauty of nature. Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Penny Schauers Anderson whom he married June 29, 1974; a son, Jesse L. Anderson of Jamestown; three brothers: David (Sara) Anderson of Tallahassee, FL; Barry (Barbara) Anderson of Bemus Point; Bradley (Sandra) Anderson of Panama; a sister: Shari (Linn) Hyde of Warren, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Per Jeff’s wishes, no service or visitation will be observed. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Frewsburg. Memorials may be made to the Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Road, Jamestown, NY 14701.
