Jayme Carroll Overbay November 26 1973 July 3 2018 (age 44)

Jayme Carroll Overbay, age 44, of Jefferson City, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 3, 2018. He was a member of Adriel Baptist Church and graduated from Rutledge High School. He was very active in sports and his pastimes were hunting, basketball, and baseball. He was preceded in death by his father, Carroll Overbay; grandparents, Jeff and Maxine Golden and Frank and Mattie Overbay; uncle, Harrell Overbay; and aunts, Grace (Eddie) Walker and Janie Overbay. He is survived by his son, Seth Overbay (girlfriend, Emily King); mother, Kay Overbay-Whitaker; brother, Jason Overbay; nieces, Olivia and Keely; nephews, Andrew and Finn Overbay; fiancé, Sherri Jones; aunts, Joyce (Aubrey) Douglas, Vonda (Frank) Dean, and Phyllis (David) Sigler; uncle, Howard (Kay) Overbay; and many special cousins and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, July 6 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Stacey Lawson officiating. Family and friends will meet at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 7 at Adriel Baptist Church Cemetery in Bean Station for graveside services. Pallbearers will be Jamie Orrick, Chad Baker, Danny Cameron, Cory Sigler, Caleb Dean, and Jeremy Whitaker. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
