James Jim Adams December 20 1952 July 23 2018 (age 65)

James “Jim” M. Adams, 65, of Paducah, died Monday morning, July 23rd, 2018 at his home. Jim was a longtime employee for USEC, and was of the Christian faith. Jim was a US Navy veteran of the Vietnam conflict, serving on the USS Sterett. Jim is survived by one brother, Clifford (Sharon) Adams Jr. of Lexington, KY.; one sister, Phyllis (Johnny) Walker of Paducah; three nephews, Dr. Jeffrey (Trish) Adams of Talbott, TN., Rick (Ashley) Stubblefield of Paducah, and John (Annie) Walker of Paducah; one niece, Christy (Kirk) Adams Sanders of Decatur, AL.; and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents, Clifford Ray Adams Sr. and Ruby Maxene Moore Adams; one daughter, Amanda Raye Adams. Friends may visit the family on Saturday, July 28th, 2018 at Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah from 11am until 1pm. Memorial services including military honors will follow visitation starting at 1pm with Chaplain Jim Smith officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to the charity of your choice. The family would like to give a special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff of the Hospice program and Professional Case Management with special thanks to Christine and Jessica for loving care that was given to Jim.
