Ira “Lee” Faulkenberry, 87, of Mineral Wells, passed away Tuesday evening, July 10, 2018, in Weatherford. A graveside committal service celebrating his life will be held at 11 A.M., on Friday, July 13, at the Bethesda Cemetery in Garner, Texas. Lee was born March 10, 1931 in Mc Cauley, Texas to Ira Ernest and Mable Elizabeth Odom Faulkenberry. He married, Lora “Patricia” Bailey on April 8, 1961. Lee was a veteran having served during the Korean Conflict and lived many years in the Adell… Read More » Community in Parker County. He was a local farmer who grew hay, peanuts, and watermelons. Lee and his wife enjoyed camping and touring the country in their RV. Lee is survived by his wife, Patricia; his sisters, Wanda Threatt and Jenny Church; and by his brother, Chessley Faulkenberry. In addition to his parents, Lee was preceded in death by his sisters, Velma Johnson, Lena Rook, Agnes Hutson, Hallie Stovall, Bessie Burnette, and Jo Teel; and by his brothers, LJ (Bootes) Faulkenberry and Roland Faulkenberry.
