Obituary for Ilse Scott Ilse Scott passed from this life on July 2, 2018 at the age of 90 due to Myelodysplastic Syndrome. Ilse was preceded in death by her husband Carl Scott in 1990 and sons George Scott and John Scott Sr. Ilse was born on March 7, 1928 in Darmstadt, Germany to Ludwig and Luise Demmel. Ilse married her husband Carl on March 29, 1956 in Germany. Ilse worked underground as a nurse while living in Germany before marrying Carl. She spent her years traveling with him through his military career before settling with their family in Flat, MO and working for the Rawlings factory Licking and Newburg. Isle’s passion were her children, grandchildren and animals. Her home was always full of family, craziness and lots of laughter. You wouldn’t be shocked if there was a goat inside hanging out or a duck being hatched in the oven. She taught us all good life lessons. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her! She leaves behind her daughter, Barbara Guyton and husband Jimmy, son, Mace Scott and dear friend Michelle Akers, son, Carl Scott Jr. and wife Loretta and son, John Scott Jr. and fiancé Kelsey Beyers. Grandchildren, Julie, Eric, Rachel, Kenny, Lauren, Daniel, Cody, Dave, Dennis, Abigale, Allison & Eli. A host of great grandchildren, Davie, Destiny, Morgan and so many more. Funeral arrangements are being held by James & Gahr Mortuary in Rolla, MO. There will be a private grave side service at Smith Cemetery in Edgar Springs. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Myelodysplastic Syndrome Foundation, mds-foundation.org in memory of Ilse.
