Obituary for Helen Black Brown Helen Black Brown of Murfreesboro, died July 27, 2018 at the age of 70. She was a member of Hebron Church of Christ. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Wayne Brown; father, Marcus Black; mother, Lola Nickens Black; brothers, John Lesley Black, Ernest Black, Martin Black, Ellis “Jipper” Black. She is survived by her son, Michael Shane (Angie) Brown; brothers, Wesley Black, Kenneth Black, Howard Black; sisters, Lorene Black Elrod, Margaret Black Welker; grandchildren, Jerry Reed Brown and Michael Riley Brown; special niece and nephew, Kandie Welker Smith and Darren Welker; and several other nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be 4:00-8:00 Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home. Chapel service will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 29, 2018 with Mike Lamb officiating. Burial will follow in Drennon Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
