Obituary of Hayward David Neace REXVILLE: Hayward David Neace, 70, went peacefully to his eternal rest at home in Rexville on July 25, 2018. Hayward was born March 26, 1948 in Barwick, Kentucky to the late Letcher and Ruby (Morgan) Neace. On June 12, 2010 in Wolcottsville, he married Judy Ann Clack who survives and resides in Rexville. Hayward was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving our country proudly and with honor during the Vietnam War. He was a recipient of one Purple Heart, 2 Bronze Stars medals and an Army Commendation Medal in the F Troop 15th Calvary. Hayward had worked for many years at the Kodak Company in Rochester as a welder. He specialized in Tig welding for many government jobs which included welding material for the International Space Station as well as other space projects. He was a member of the Greenwood American Legion and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed bowhunting and made many hunting trips to Canada with family and friends. He also loved to watch football, riding in his side-by-side with his dog Kady and was very proficient in stain glass art. In addition to his wife Judy of Rexville, Hayward is survived by a son Eric (Keri) Neace of Lyndonville, a daughter Julie Hinman of Middleport, two step-children, Janeen (Guy) Marsh of Lowell, IN. and Troy (Krista) Lindke of Gasport, 7 grandchildren, a brother Dudley (Catherine) Neace of Rexville and a sister, Judy Henley of Middleport. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother Richard Neace. A memorial service with military honors will take place Saturday, August 11, at 11:00 am at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in Wolcottsville (Akron), N.Y. Memorial contributions in Hayward’s name may be made to the Greenwood American Legion Auxiliary, Birmingham-Burd Post 1425, Main St. Greenwood, N.Y. 14839.
