Obituary for Harlis Roscoe Martin HURST-Master Sgt. Harlis R. Martin, 85, left this Earth on Friday, July 27, 2018, with his family by his side. Harlis was born May 27, 1933, in Asberries, Virginia. He served proudly in the U.S. Air Force and retired after 20 years of military service. Harlis then worked for the City of Hurst, retiring after 21 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley; son, Timothy; grandson, Gregory; and granddaughter, Lynn. Survivors: Sons, Lawrence Martin (Ruby) and Robert Martin (Margaret); daughter, Ronalyn Young (Joel); daughter-in-law, Janet Martin; 14 grandchildren; and 18 1/2 great-grandchildren.
